Every morning I read CNN.com and this morning I saw this article, "Inventor of TV Dinner dies at 83"
I remember eating TV dinners when I was little and them not tasting so bad. Always had to make sure when we bought them, they included a dessert. Now that I'm older, I don't find TV dinners as good as they used to be. I find that in more and more food I eat as I'm older.
For example, I used to love Dots Candy as a kid and now they are just so bland and not appealing to me. On this site, there is a lot of Old Candy that I used to enjoy but don't think I could stomach today. Wax Lips???

Does anyone else feel that way? Is there a candy that you just loved as a child and found again as an adult and thought how did I eat this?

Posted by: mrscrumley at July 21, 2005 01:04 PMWhat about those spiced apples that melted the roof of your mouth like 4000 degrees molting lava ? Those were the best part :-O NOT !
Posted by: Shane at July 21, 2005 08:09 PMI used to love boston baked beans candy and now I can't stand it. I call that old man's candy... Another thing I used to like and now can't stomach.... CANDY CORN! YUCK!
And yea, those apples were hot. I would pick out which tv dinner I bought BASED on which dessert I wanted. I think my favorite was Swanson's fried chicken with mashed potatoes, peas and carrots and a little brownie.
