Smart Fit

As you know, I've been dieting for the past 3 months and have lost about 20 lbs. I still need to loose ALOT more weight; however, I have noticed that the areas that I have lost weight are becoming flabby. So, I've decided it's time to start working out.

My work offers their employees a Corporate Smart Fit Program with the YMCA. You have to agree to go workout twice a week for 1 hour. If you complete the program, they reimburse you your medical premium. I decided that was an extra incentive for me to get off my butt and work out.

I don't mind going to the "Y" by myself; but I thought I'd try to recruit a friend of mine to go with me.

My dear friend, Zona, of whom I've worked with for the past 15 years is going with me. So, next Tuesday at 6:00 pm, Zona and I will be getting measured and ready to transform our bodies into "The Next Top Model". Well, a person can dream, can't they?

I went out and bought me an iPod Shuffle so that I can listen to music while I work out. It is really a fun little gadget!!!

It states it will hold 120 songs; however, I only got 74 to fit on mine. I guess because some of the songs I listen to are longer than most songs.

Anyway, wish me luck on working out and Happy Autumn, tomorrow!!!

Good luck! I have been to the Sports Barn the past two afternoons and am planning on going again today. I figure I have to get serious if I am planning on losing anything substantial. As for dieting, who is going to finish that ice cream in my freezer? I know Damon won't and Fuller can't!

You could either eat it or throw it away, but who wants to waste money like that. Weight Watchers has some ice cream that is soooo good. It's like Oreo cookie crumb covering vanilla ice cream. Then they have a toffee crunch bar that is really good too. That way you get your sweet tooth but don't have to give up your calories.
