DIY Invitations

Being the crafty person that I am, I was going to hand make my Wedding Invitations. I bought all the supplies and had my plan all drawn up and then decided I really didn't want to put that much time in making invitations when I have so much other stuff to do; so I went with Do-it-yourself(DIY) Invitations. It also helped with our AC Moore store went out of business and had them on sale($3.50/box).

This morning, I got up when Shane went to work and got ready and went to the 7:30 Mass with my mom. After Mass, we went to breakfast and then came home. I decided that now was a good time to start/finish my invitations.

They were easy to print; however, putting them together is another story. I think I have a total of 7 completed. I do have the reply cards and envelopes together and in the main envelope and I put address labels on the reply envelopes to make things a little easy on my guests.

I have another 2 months before I mail the invites so I know I'll be finished in plenty of time.

Caterer is finished and thing only thing left to purchase are favors and pew bows.

I hand made all of my invitations. Believe me it was tough! I started about 6 months before the wedding and sent most of them out about a month before the wedding. If I could do it over again, I'd be paying someone....

Not to get you down! Good luck!

Yea, that's probably one reason I decided against hand making them; but the DIY takes some time too. Maybe if I had of gotten plain ones but no, I had to have the ones with the bow and a charm with our initial on it..lol I welcome all comments as everyone has a right to their own opinion. :)
