Being the crafty person that I am, I was going to hand make my Wedding Invitations. I bought all the supplies and had my plan all drawn up and then decided I really didn't want to put that much time in making invitations when I have so much other stuff to do; so I went with Do-it-yourself(DIY) Invitations. It also helped with our AC Moore store went out of business and had them on sale($3.50/box).
This morning, I got up when Shane went to work and got ready and went to the 7:30 Mass with my mom. After Mass, we went to breakfast and then came home. I decided that now was a good time to start/finish my invitations.
They were easy to print; however, putting them together is another story. I think I have a total of 7 completed. I do have the reply cards and envelopes together and in the main envelope and I put address labels on the reply envelopes to make things a little easy on my guests.
I have another 2 months before I mail the invites so I know I'll be finished in plenty of time.
Caterer is finished and thing only thing left to purchase are favors and pew bows.
Posted by tennbrat at May 4, 2008 08:34 PM | TrackBackI hand made all of my invitations. Believe me it was tough! I started about 6 months before the wedding and sent most of them out about a month before the wedding. If I could do it over again, I'd be paying someone....

Maybe if I had of gotten plain ones but no, I had to have the ones with the bow and a charm with our initial on it..lol I welcome all comments as everyone has a right to their own opinion. :)
