The subject of drug abuse isn't something I usually discuss on here but I think it warrants a place on my blog.
I personally have never done drugs; however, drugs have been a big part of my family and has changed many lifes of people I care and love.
Me and my sisters have all dated or married someone with a drug problem and luckly we survived without abusing them ourselves. And luckily, we all got out of those bad relationships and are definitely for the better.
I dated a guy that had a problem and one time he decided to check himself into a substance abuse program. I went to the meetings with him and I really learned alot from them; unfortunately he did not.
I believe the Drug Abuse problems around the world today aren't really taken that serious; especially for celebrities.
I think too often, celebrities get a slap on the wrist and get away with too much.
Passages Malibu is a Alcohol Rehab or Drug Rehab Center that is very nice and many celebrities go there. I just hope it actually works for the people that attend Passages Malibu.
Their treatment plan seems really well thought of and would actually work if the users will put their heart and soul into wanting to change.
I know from experiences in your daily life that noone can make you change. You can and will succeed at changing if you want to change for yourself and noone else.
That applies to many things in life too.

I survived my first HS Football game, in a long time, and my last. Well, it will be my last unless Ashley ends up cheering for her HS, then you know I have to go.
Anyway, last night was really fun. ERHS beat McMinn Central; they crowned a new Homecoming Queen and it was great to see everyone at the Meet and Greet before the game.
I have a great memory for being as old as I am. HAHA. No really, I do have a good memory and there was only 1 person that I could not remember her first name. As soon as someone said her first name, I instantly knew her last name. Besides that, I knew everyone's full name. I think Brenda wanted me to go with her so I could tell her who everyone was.
It was fun to see everyone and how much they changed or stayed the same.
I can't wait until tonight.
I'm always going to McKay's to look for good Romance books; however, lately I've been stressed with Diesel and what puppies do and just life in general.
So, I thought I'd look for a way to relieve strees and I ran across this book called Simone and Elvis. It is a self meditation, Self Help Book to relieve stress.
Try out the free slideshow that relaxes you.
Nice, relaxing....Ok, I'm going back to bed.
Happy Weekend!!

I posted for a position within my department back in June. I had a phone interview while I was on disability.
This week, we finally heard who got the job.
Well, it wasn't me!!! What sucks is that they gave it to someone outside our department. What gripes me about this is it was a Level II job and so this person doesn't even have the knowledge of a Level I position.
I was highly ticked off about this when we were told of their decision. I kept my mouth shut because when I'm that mad, it's best that I don't say anything at all. I felt like it was like a slap in the face and basically told me that they didn't think I was good enough for the position.
I did vent to my mom, Shane and a couple of good friends. That made me feel ALOT better and I'll be over it by the time Monday comes around.
But I have some advise for all the Bosses out there. And not just the ones at the place I work; but every work place.
If you have a position open in your area and employees within your area post for it; have a little bit of decentcy and promote your own employee. Trust me when I say, they will respect you so much more if you give it to someone within your department.
When Shane and I talked about getting a dog; we knew 2 things that were a definite. He had to be an English Bulldog and it had to be a male.
We had discussed names once and Shane said he liked the name Samson for a male dog because it was a strong name and Bulldogs are very strong.
I liked Samson, but knew I'd end up calling him Sam. So one day when I was researching English Bulldogs, I came across a picture of a puppy named Diesel. Instantly, I fell in love with the name and that is how Deisel got his name.
When we picked him up, we already had a dog tag made for him with his name on it. We knew he would be a Diesel and he is.
This website Alldognames.com - Dog Names is just like a baby name website giving you ideas for dog names and how they rank.
I checked it out to see if Diesel was on there and guess what?
Diesel wasn't even in the Top 20; nor was his name even on the site at all. That's good because it means it's an original.
Did your dog's name make the Top 20 list?

This Friday night is Homecoming for East Ridge High School. I rarely went to football games while I was in school and really have no desire to start now; however, my Reunion is really a weekend long event. Starting Friday night at Homecoming.
There is a meet and greet before the game and then they want you to go to the game. Like I said, I really have no desire to go to the this; but my good friend, Brenda wants me to go with her.
She lives in Athens so she is coming down for the weekend. She never sees anyone from high school, so she is all hyped up about it.
I think one of the coaches live next to me because his yard gets rolled every time this year.
So, I'll be going to the game on Friday and then the actual Reunion on Saturday.
We play McMinn Central, so it should be a good game. Shane said he may want to go also.
Go PIONEERS!!!!
This morning on The Today Show, Payperpost Postie (PPP), Guerilla Marketing, got in on the crowd. It was wild.
I've been to New York several times and never made it on The Today Show. It was either raining, too cold, too crowded or too early for us.
I think their idea was great and they caught it all on camera. You can check out their behind the screen footage of them getting on the show.
Way to go, guys and girls!!! It was awesome.

Isn't it great to have friends? I mean real friends that no matter what, they are there for you and if you ever need anything, within reason, they can and will do it for you.
As you know, I moved to a new department at work about 6 months ago and the people in that department are wonderful. Just geniunely nice.
All I've been talking about for a few months now is my Reunion and as many of you know, I have crappy hair. So, one of the girls offered to put a relaxer in my hair so we could get it ready for the Reunion.
This past weekend, I went to a Tastefully Simple party. First of all, let me say, the party was great. Great food and great visiting with old and new friends.
After the party, the hostess let me use her bathroom to do my hair. It turned out great and super straight. No frizz at all. My mom doesn't like it because she doesn't like straight hair; however, I received numerous compliments at work on it.
Now just to figure out how to style if for this weekend.
Have you ever used a Cash Advance loan?
When I first moved out into my 2nd apartment there were times when I needed a Cash Advance loan. Just enough to get me to my next payday.
This has been over 8 years ago when Cash Advance locations were popping up everywhere and charging clients an astronomical finance rate. If you borrowed $200 for 2 weeks, you had to pay back $230. I think I read somewhere the finance rate for 14 days was over 130%. Ridiculous, but for people in a bind, it worked out fo you.
I know now these Cash Advance companies got in trouble for charging so much finance charge and I think now you only have to pay back $202 on a $200 loan. I haven't used one in over 8 years and hopefully, I won't have to.
Now you can get an Online Cash Advance Payday Loan. They charge a low finance charge of $13 per $100 borrowed. I guess this would be a great convenience since it's put in your checking/savings account the next day; however, I still don't recommend this to anyone trying to live payday to payday. Tough it out and save your $2, $26 or $30. You'll make, trust me. I did.

I, personally, think Diesel is the cutest puppy around Chattanooga. Of course, I'm partial to him.
Tomorrow, he will meet his other grandma, Shane's mom. She has never seen him so I know he'll be excited.
Shane took some photos of him outside playing and I think this one proves my point.
Payperpost is a site that pays you to write about one of their clients. Meaning they have clients that pay them to advertise on blogs and then payperpost pays us, crazy people, to write on our blog about the service.
Payperpost even has their own blog so that you can learn about fellow posties.
Their is a Question and Answer, Chat Forum and just various things you would find on a personal blog.
I think this has to be one of the smartest internet ideas someone has come up with and I thoroughly enjoy coming home and checking out the Open Opportunities for me to write about.

I've seen this numerous times; however, it still amazes me how this artist does this.
How does he do it?
Several years ago, my mother got an ADT Home Security System. I think it's a great system.
If her phone line is out or say someone cuts your phone line, it lets you know that your phone line is out.
Anytime the alarm goes off, it automatically calls ADT and then they in turn call the Fire Dept. and/or Police Dept.
One time, she didn't close her door all the way when she left, but turned on the alarm. Within 5-10 mins. a policeman was there to make sure everything was okay. He even told her that it stated her front door was open. It's really great to have home security that will let you know exactly what is going on with your home.
I have thought about getting a system like that; but just haven't been able to afford it yet.
I should add that to My "Wishful Thinking" Home Improvement list.

I took Diesel to the Vet today and he weighs a whopping 35 lbs. He gained 7 pounds in 2 weeks!!!
The Vet said he looked really good and he was healthy; but go ahead and cut his feedings to 2/day instead of 3 times. He also got 4 sets of shots, but he took like the Bulldog that he is.
After his checkup, I took him for a grooming. He got a bath, massage, blowed dried, nail clipping and a good brushing.
Everyone just went on and on about how loving he was. I had 3 people ask where I got him because they wanted one.
He's getting so big and so cute.
When I bought my house there really wasn't any remodeling that needed to be done; however, there was plenty of "wishful thinking"home improvement.
I really love these bamboo countertops. This site has great ideas that you wouldn't normally think of.
Here's just a list of what I would "love" to have done and some of the things on the list aren't undoable; just can't be done right now.
1) New Windows
2) Swimming Pool
3) Totally Remodel Kitchen (even though I just repainted my kitchen; I would still like to remodel it)
4) Landscaping
5) Paint some rooms in my house a bold color.
So, see there really isn't that much to do, it's just finding the time and money to get it accomplished.
Number 5 is probably the only one that will be marked off my list within the next year. Possible number 2.

I've always had Brooke Shields' eyebrows, thick, bushy and dark; however, as I've gotten older, they have become unruly too. Also as I've gotten older and my hormones have changed, I always have thin dark hairs above my lip. (I don't want to say I have a mustache because I don't; but you women know what I mean)
The one solution that keeps my face hair free is waxing. Waxing is very painful, especially my eyebrows. It make me tear up and I can't open my eyes afterwards. Above the lip area isn't as bad as I can tighten my mouth up and it doesn't hurt as bad when she YANKS the strip off.
I can't imagine what it would be like to have your bikini area waxed. I would die first off of embarassment and secondly because OUCH!!!
Anyway, to start getting beautiful for the reunion, I went and had my eyebrow and upper lip waxed.
I love the results; hate the action.
Anyone know of a pain free hair removal process? If so, please share it with me. I would love to be able to do this at home.
Getting married is something that I have always dreamed of; however, I've never really been in any hurry to rush right into it.
Shane and I have dated almost 3 years now and we talk about marriage; but again, nothing that we have just set in stone and said, "Let's do it".
Every now and then, I look around at an engagement diamond ring because my emotions get the best of me and I want to be married and share the rest of my life with the person I love, Shane.
This site has beautiful engagement rings like the one below.

There are several rings that I really like. Diamonds-USA has 6 reasons to buy:
1. Free Global Insured Shipping.
2. Risk Free Purchase.
3. Pay After You Receive.
4. We Source Diamonds and Jewelry.
5. Toll-Free Customer Support.
6. Life time upgrade plan.
They even have an online ring design tool so that you can design your own ring made especially for you.
Maybe Shane will read my blog and get the hint. (haha)

Diesel is now 4 months old and getting big. He goes for his 2nd vet visit this Saturday. I'd love to take a class with him to teach him some basic commands.
He knows stop and sit and somewhat, come here; but he could know more and that's what I want to teach him.
Pet Smart has a class you can take and on their Web site, they even have a coupon for a free lesson. I may do that Saturday if we have time.
We are going to fix our fence this weekend so that Diesel can stay outside and play during the day while we are at work and then stay in the laundry room during the nighttime or when needed.
He's a cutie!!
Shane loves gaming, anything and everything to do with gaming. He is a HUGE online game player. His favorite is Dungeons & Dragons Online. A couple of months ago in Indianapolis there was a gaming convention. Several of his online buddies went to this and he really wanted to go but we didn't know about it in time to plan a weekend get-away.
On October 12-15, in NYC, there is DigitalLife 2006. This year's exhibitors include hundreds of the world's top technology and gaming
brands such as: Alienware, AMD, ATI, Best Buy, eBay, ESPN, Game Stop, Intel, Logitech, Maxim, Microsoft, NVIDIA, XBox, and many more.
I know Shane would love to go to this; however, if a flight and hotel in NYC would be cheap enough we would definitely be going.
So, all you guys and girls that live close enough and can afford to go, I have free ticket code for you. Regular priced tickets are $15. Simple click on this ticketing page and mention the code "Insider" and you will get a free admission ticket.
Have fun and enjoy your gaming adventure.

I received this email from my mom today and thought I'd share it with everyone. Feel free to comment on what you think about it. I think it is so coincidental.
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head .
Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'
Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a
warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a
theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
And here's the kicker...
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.
Creepy huh?
I love the holidays, especially the Fall and Winter holidays. I always decorate at Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I have several Halloween decorations, but I could always stand to have more.
Candy Corn is one of my favorite Halloween candy, so when I was looking at onlinediscountmart, I found this cute Candy Corn Shelf Sitter made out of painted resin, metal.

They have so many cute halloween decorations that noone would have a problem finding something for their Halloween theme.

Just wanted to keep you updated about everything going in with the family.
1) Shane is doing great and his new teeth look great. He's in a little discomfort; however overall, he is doing good. He goes back Monday to get his sutures out. Then, once the swelling goes down, he'll have to have his partial adjusted.
2) Ashley went skating last weekend and broke her arm. She fell and tried to catch herself and ended up breaking her arm near her wrist. She got her cast today and is doing really well.
3) I'm still sick; but now my throat is better, just moved on to my nose. I have that stuffy, sneezing, itchy nose. NYQUIL is my best friend at night though.
4) For the last 2 weeks, I haven't lost any weight. I haven't gained any either though. Hopefully, next week, I'll lose some.
That's about all that is happening for this week in my life.
I'm always buying things to hang on the walls; plus since I have a ton of nieces, I have lots of pictures to hang.
I love As Seen on TV items (ASOT) and I have to visit the stores everytime I go to Pigeon Forge.
I didn't know there was a Web site for ASOT items. I took a look around and found these Hercules Hooks. They hold up to 150 lbs. and that makes me feel good to know my precious items are secure.
You get 10 hooks for only $9.95. That's a great price so I just might have to order me some.
Check this website out, not only for the Hercules Hooks, but many other great items.

Shane's dentist appointment went well today. He is home sleeping and his new smile looks great.
He doesn't have much swelling at all and he doesn't seem to be in too much pain.
Next weekend is the reunion and I'll definitely post a picture of us all dressed up.
Also, I can tell the season is changing....
1) Leaves are falling from my trees
2) I have a bad cold, which includes sore throat, earache and stuffy nose
Everytime the seasons change, I have a cold that seems to last a month.
When I bought my house, it had hardwood flooring throughout the entire house, no carpet at all.
I thought I would love the hardwood floor, I mean really no vacumming; just sweeping and mopping. Boy!! I was wrong.
In every corner there would be dust bunnies and it felt like you had to sweep it every other day to make it look nice. We even tried a product that was supposed to make your hardwood floors shine and protect them so that you didn't have to sweep so often.
I ended up getting carpet; but maybe laminate flooring is better as far as collecting dust bunnies.
If I had known about quick-step laminate flooring before I chose carpet, I might could have enjoyed the look of hardwood floors without the hassle.
Oh well, carpet is nice too.

Shane has a dentist appointment in the AM to get "7" teeth pulled and a partial. He is nervous about this, yet also excited.
He's had problems with his teeth in the past but has never been able to do anything about it.
Well, tomorrow, he will have a new smile and I'm so happy for him.
Your smile shows confident and I think it's very important for everyone to have a great smile and be able to laugh and smile without being self-conscious.
Once he gets home and the swelling, if any, goes down; I will definitely post a new picture on here of me and him and you will see him smiling with his mouth open.
Shane is a HUGE Gator fan and when we first started dating; I bought him a Gator shirt from the University of Florida.
Shane is a big guy, 6'4", so I bought him a 3X; however, when we got the shirt it was like an XL.
Since Florida beat Tennessee, I wanted to get him a college football jerseys
This site actually has a 3X jersey for only $58. Sounds like I have 1 Christmas present in mind that he will love.
He's always wanted a jersey too. Makes him think he is on the team.

Well, Tennessee lost to Florida by 1 point. 1 point!!!!
I'd rather them lose by more than 10 points than just 1 point. Anywho, Shane was happy.
His dad came over and watched the game with Shane and Logan. I ended up going to bed in the 3rd quarter. I'm a TN fan; however, I just don't get into the games as much as I used to.
Well, there's still today's race. Hopefully Junior will WIN!!!
Dan has written a blog about when payperpost started and it's rather an interesting entry.
First, I didn't know payperpost just started back in July of this year. When I joined, they had just been open for a little over 2 months, yet their site is very professional and I haven't ran into any kinks yet.
I think what Dan has to say is true, "The Consumer Generated Advertising revolution has begun". Payperpost a great way to make money blogging.
However, I didn't know there were sides to chose??

Diesel is now 15 weeks old and I still have a lot of questions about dogs and their behavior.
Is it normal that everytime that I take Diesel out to potty that he eats leaves, grass and sticks?
We feed him 3 times a day, so I know he isn't hungry. Is this just something Bulldogs do?
If anyone knows, I would appreciate any comments and/or suggestions.
Like I've said many times before, I started blogging because I was hoping to get pregnant and I wanted to us it as an online "Pregnancy" journal. Well, that didn't happen like I planned, so my blog was often bare.
My friend at work, Alli, has a great blog. She is a great writer and I enjoy reading her blog, so when she wanted people to sign up for Payperpost, I thought that sounds like fun.
I'll be the first to admin, I am NOT a write; but payperpost is a Consumer Generated Advertising site and is really easy to use.
If you want to join, please go to the above link and sign up. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do and why not make money doing something you enjoy. If you sign up, please leave me a comment and I'll give you my email address.

This weekend, the BIG game. VOLS vs GATORS, my team vs Shane's team. I'm glad we will have the kids here this weekend, so that Shane don't act a fool while watching the game. Last year, I had to give him a stuffed football he could throw in case of getting mad and not liking what the Gators are doing.
This year, I have the kids here; so he'll keep his cool.
Also, this weekend starts the last 10 races towards the Nextel Cup Championship. Dale qualified 13th.
GO DALE!!!!! GO VOLS!!!!!
For a while now, the latest craze has been internet phone service to replace your home one.
I've thought about this and wanted to see what all the hype was about. On Vonage, it is very informative as it discusses reviews, has a forum section and even discussion among actual users of Vonage.
It does seem cheaper than my local phone company; however, 911 is different with internet phone. There are three types of 911 calling available on Vonage. The type you get will depend on the availability of 911 and routing at your local emergency center.
Not sure if I like that part about it. You also need a router with Vonage and you can't have your number listed in the phone book.
There are many pros and cons with internet phone service and this site provides you with a good insight.

Well, there are 10 races left and Dale Jr. is in 6th place in the points. He could actually win the Championship this year.
I don't watch the races as much as I used since Dale Sr. got killed; but I do keep up with it.
The way they do the points left a lot of boys out of the race for the Championship. Like, TONY STEWART!!! That was a big shock, I'm sure, for all the race fans.
Well, like I said, 10 more races; can Jr. do it?
I sure hope so!!
About 2 months ago, my stepmother got Ashley a cell phone. Now, Ashley is only 9 years old.
Yes, I liked the idea of her having a phone in case of an emergency; however, the havoc this phone had was not worth the worry.
She used the phone ALL the time, even when she was home. She'd bring it to my house and would use it anytime she needed, well wanted, to call someone. I mean, she's 9 years old, who is she going to call?
Also, it was a camera phone....she was taking pictures left and right and of everything and everybody.
I think "teenagers" should have a phone but not a "tween".
Cell Phone-n-plans has the best cell phone deals. Parents can go on there and enter “Off the Hook,” a free cell phone agreement developed for teens and their parents. Parents and children can come to an agreement and make sure they understand the responsibility (and the costs) that go along with cell
phone ownership.
Cell phones are the one object I think many people can't be without. Yes, I have one; however, as an adult, I don't just use it all the time.
I will say, I do understand why kids love them. I had to have one when I was old enough also. The only difference between then and now, is I had to pay for my own phone and coverage. Now adays, parents just pay for it instead of making the child pay for it.
Children will respect things more if they are having to pay for it out of their own pocket. Think about it.

Alot of things have been happening this week around the globe.
9/11 Five Year Anniversary
I remember this very well as I went to New York just a month after 9/11. We actually planned to go that very week, but my aunt decided to visit that week, so we put it off until the next month. It was scary when I heart about this because I had a friend that lived right in Manhatten and he worked in the middle of the city. We always stay right in Time Square, so we would have been safe if we were in our hotel; however, we toured every day and passed the World Trade Centers almost every day. we went to New York a year earlier and were right where 9/11 happened. My friend was safe and so was his family, but my thoughts and prayers go out to anyone that lost a loved one and/or friend.
Anna Nicole Smith Gives Birth and Loses Son
I couldn't believe it when I read about Anna Nicole Smith's son dying while visiting her after giving birth to her daughter. This is a terrible thing for anyone to have to go through and my prayers are with her.
Britney Spears Gives Birth to Another Boy
Well, Britney did it again. Another boy. I'm anxious to see what he looks like and what she will name him. Congratulations!!!
This week has been a week of sadness and joy, may God Bless Everyone.
Buying a house can be a very stressful event in a person's life. You have to worry about if you can afford it, is it in the right area, is it in good condition or how much remodeling do I have to do? So many things factor into making this decision.
With all those factors; I decided to buy a house. I bought my house 3 years ago coming this November. I did a ton of research before buying my house as far as the interest rate and how closing costs worked and any advantage for first time buyers.
I suggest that anyone research thoroughly before jumping into buying a house. There are web sites that give you all the information you need, for example, mortgage brokers. They provide you with a mortgage calculator and have a great knowledge base.
You'll find:
Mortgages 101
Understanding Home Equity Loans
Home Equity Line of Credit
Leveraging Home Equity for Debt Consolidation
The Mortgage Refinancing Boom
It explains about Fixed Interest Rate vs. Adjustable Mortgage Rate. I think everyone should read this.
At lot of people don't understand the difference and they do a great job of explaining this.
Other services they provide is to Find a Broker or fill out a Quick Application. I totally recommend this site for the homebuyer needing advise.

I took my dress to Golden Leaf Sewing over the weekend. All I needed altered was the shoulders and under the arm.
When we walked in the place, noone greeted us. You could see the 2 workers in the back finishing up something, but neither one of them came out front to help us. After about 5-8 mins, someone asked if they could help us. I changed into my dress and she pinned it up. Really never talking during this process. After I took the dress off, she took it and wrote me an invoice for $40.
I was shocked that just that little bit of alteration would cost $40, so I told her I would wait and maybe get it done later. When really, I was taking my dress somewhere else. When I told her that, she really didn't want to give me my dress back. So, I told her again, I was going to think about it and maybe come back another day.
She then said, "Well, you took up my time pinning it, so you HAVE to pay me $5." I was like sure, I'll give you $5, but give me my dress back because I'm not paying $40 for that little bit of sewing.
She was very rude and I don't recommend this place to anyone needing a seamstress.
I love shoes, so anytime I find a great deal; I can usually find me a pair I love and just have to buy.
Earlier this year, I bought a pair of Teva Sandals and they are the most comfortable sandals I have. If I don't need to wear another pair for various reasons; I always wear my Tevas.
You can Save On Brand Name Shoes here. They have every brand name possible and priced reasonably. Here's the kicker though, FREE shipping and FREE returns.
They even have foot tips and tips for buying shoes. I think this would be useful if women actually read this instead of buying shoes for looks instead of comfort. I do that too often.
They have special tips for seniors and kids. Great site for all your shoe needs.
We have been trying to potty train Diesel even though he doesn't stay in the house with us.
We stays in our laundry room so I really don't want him using the potty in there either.
He does pee on his pee pads; but it's the other that bothers me. We have finally worked with him enough that he does his business outside and not in the laundry room.
We take him outside about 4-5 times a day and play with him, then around 6 or 7, we take his food bowl up so he doesn't eat all throughout the night.
So far, so good. Good DIESEL!!!
I'm always looking for movies online to watch on my laptop while going on vacation, on a plane, etc.
I found a site that has a ton of Movie Downloads. Not only does it have unlimited movie downloads; it shows users how to download music, movies, games and software.
It's not free; but I think it is well worth it. Here are just a few of their top features.
» Lightning fast downloads
» Over 80 Million Movies to choose
» Play on your PC or TV
» No Charge per movie
» No download limit what so ever!
» No Spyware or Popup Ads
» Unlimited technical support
It's good to know you can download music, movies, etc. without worrying that the family movie you just downloaded isn't suitable for children.
For unlimited access, it's only $39.95. Just slightly lower than what you would pay if you bought 2 DVDs. Try it, I think you'll enjoy it.
I'm not a huge football fan; but when it comes to Peyton Manning, I'm willing to watch it if I have the time.
Well, tonight it's Colts vs Giants, Manning vs Manning, Peyton vs Eli. This is the first time in history that brothers have ever went up against each other; especially both being quarterbacks.
So, to be a part of history, I'm watching the game. As of right now, there's 5:29 left in the first quarter and the score is 3-0, Colts.
It looks like The Giants are about to score.
GO COLTS!!!!!

I normally wear high heels to work or anytime I'm dressed up. I love sandals the best because I hate wearing shoes so this is the close to being barefoot to me.
Because I love shoes so much; sometimes I'll buy a pair if they "almost" fit me just simply because I loved them and they were a great deal.
When this happens, my feet suffer. Either my toes end up hurting or the bottom of my feet do.
Since I'll be wearing heels to my reunion and for about 4-5 hours, I thought about trying out some of those shoe inserts on OurFootdoctor.com for high heels.
Since I have knee problems, I think the SuperFeet DressFit Inserts will work just fine.
Today was Diesel's first doctor's appt. We took him to PetSmart initially for his nails to be trimmed; but ended up taking him to the vet there also.
He got his nails trimmed and his ears cleaned in the grooming area. At the vet, he got his next shots that he needed and a thorough checkout. The vet said he was a good puppy and he was healthy and checked out fine. He had a couple of fleas, but we got him set up with some stuff for that.
He weighs 28.5 lbs now and has a follow-up visit in 2 weeks. So far, so good.
As some of you know, I've been dieting for about 15 months now and have lost a total of 54 lbs. I personally think more Americans are trying to be health conscious about their weight and try to live healthier lifes.
I ran across this article about how America is being more obese. Actually, they aren't calling us obese anymore, but actually saying we are getting fatter.
Mississippi has the greatest percentage of overweight people; whereas, Colorado has the smallest.

I used to thing it was rude to say someone was obese. I mean, yes, they may be well over the "suggested" weight; however, obese is just an ugly word. I don't feel obese; however, based on my height and weight, I am.
I don't like; therefore, I'm doing my best to become normal.
We've been wanting an English Bulldog; well, we got one and his name is Diesel.
He is 12 weeks old, 20 lbs. and his color is Fawn and White. He is so cute.
World meet Diesel.
I don't own a pet; however, my backyard has fleas.
I only have 1 neighbor that has a dog and I'm guessing his dog is letting his fleas run wild in my yard.
Ever since I was a child, insects have always just instantly latched onto me and bit me. So, anytime we go in the backyard, I try to remember to spray insect rebellant on us. However, sometimes I forget.
On day, someone must have carried a flea into my car because on a trip, I got bit about 10 times on my calves.
Since I don't own a pet nor have I really ever; I wanted to research how to get rid of fleas in your yard. On FleasControl.com, they have basic information about fleas, ways to kill them and flea control products.
Many plants have natural pesticides as a defense mechanism, and there are a few that you can use to keep your yard and garden flea-free.
Such as Lavendar, Mint and Eucalyptus. I don't really like the smell of Eucalyptus, so I may try planting some Lavendar. It smells nice and is pretty to your garden or yard.
Over the weekend, I bought a picture mat of the word CHEER. You could insert pictures under each letter. I figured this would be a neat project to do on my day off; especially since the Jerry Lewis Telethon is taking up ABC until 7 pm.
I finished my project and have already framed it. As soon as I get my picture transferred from my camera to my PC; I'll update the post.
Check by and see how cute this project turned out. Not too expensive either - $20 for everything.
Every spring, I plant flowers in my little flower boxes and several pots I have around my garage and sidewalk.
My gardenhose is hung up inside my garage and everytime I go to water my plants, I have to go into my garage and fear any spider webs that may be around my hose.
Then, when I go to put up my hose, it always hits one of my sensors to the garage door opener and I mis-aligns it. Of course, I never remember to fix it until I'm in my car trying to close the door.
I ran across this great new hose that automatically rewinds itself. I figured it would be expensive; but it's really not. For a 100 foot hose is only $69.97 and you get free shipping from Amazon.
It even comes in it's own case and is very attractive if you want to hang it on your house.

This may just be my first purchase next spring or I may ask for it for Christmas.
I've always been a Vols fan ever since I was in Junior High. One of my best friend's father was a sports editor and they often invited me to the home games.
Since, The VOLS started out the 2006 season with a win; I decided to make a place on my blog that shows their schedule, opponents and score.
I'll keep this updated every week nad I hope all you VOLS fans enjoy. And If you aren't a VOLS fan, I hope all football enthusiasts will. Or atleast appreciate the effort.
I love The Gap or Old Navy. I have found great deals at both stores for myself and others. Gap for Kids gives you 10% on the first Tuesday of the month if you are a cardholder, which basically saves you the tax.
They both sell school uniforms and most of my nieces go to schools that require that.
I found a website that you can get different coupons, coupon codes, promotion codes to use at these stores.
They have great deals on already great "low" prices.
Enjoy and I hope you find yourself a great deal!!
I found an autographed copy of Sex, Money, Kiss by Gene Simmons on ebay for a decent price; so I bought it.
I read it in less than 8 hrs and I have to say it was a really interesting and good book.
He is big on Money and how to always make sure to look out for #1. Even though he makes sure no woman is going to take his money by never getting married; I know he takes cares of his children and their mother.
The book is sort of a philosophy.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and have a different prespective about Gene Simmons now.
I started following Nascar in 1987 right after I graduated high school. My step-sister and I went to our 1st race in Darlington, NC. I didn't have a favorite driver because I really didn't know anyone; however, I had heard of Dale Earnhardt.
Our seats were so close to the track, we could actually see Dale's "famous" mustache. It was in that moment that I fell in love. In love with Nascar and I had my favorite driver.
Dale Earnhardt went on to win that race and I was hooked. So, I've been following Nascar for almost 20 years now.
Following Dale's death, I switched to Dale Jr. I have the same feeling for Jr. that I did for his dad. I love NASCAR and I love the Earnhardts.
I even had to upgrade to the Silver Package on my cable TV just so I would get the Nascar channel.
Speedtv.com gives you all the information and news you could ever want about Nascar and your favorite driver.
Go Dale Jr # 8....bring us home your first Championship in 2006!!!
Shane's father asked me to post his car for sale on the classified at work. When he read me the ad it was this:
1996 Nissan Altima, 5-speed, 196000 miles, in great working order. Minor cosmetic damage. Brand new tires and brakes all around.
Price $1000.00.
I went ahead and posted it, but then checked with my sister to see if she wanted it.
SOLD!!!
My sister got a new car, which she was in desperate need of, and Shane's father got some money.
Good for all.
Last year, I bought a new Canon Powershot G6. I got a great deal on it because it was an open box item, yet brand new.
I think digital cameras are a great gadget and I'm a gadget girl. I found this website that offers price comparison, reviews, camera deals/coupons and more.
I wanted to see just how great my camera is "supposed" to be and if I got a great deal on an open box itemed.
It turns out the above website gives you a lot of great information if you are shopping for a new digital camera.
When I decide to upgrade, I'll definitely be shopping here.
Last night I got my haircut....I really like it. Not too short; but manageable.
I finally got my dress yesterday too. It is beautiful. It fits really well except in the breast area. I'll need to have the top part taken in; anyone know a great seamstress in the Nooga area?
Just 1 more thing to do before the reunion and we are GOOD TO GO!!
As anyone who knows me, my HS Reunion is in 4 weeks. I don't do well with new hairstyles because my hair is just plain weird, so I'm getting a new "do" today in order to have 4 weeks to play around with my hair and let it grow out some.
When I was little, I had curly curly hair and of course, once it was cut; I lost the curl but kept the same consistency in my hair. Frizzy with no shape whatsoever. When I was a little older and styles my own hair, it w
