Well, just 1 more day until Christmas!! Can you believe it? Seems just like yesterday that I was planning my Wedding and that was back in August.
I'm finally off from my main job until January 5th and even though I will still be working my second job; I still consider it a break.
My plans for today are to go to Walmart to get Amanda and Ami a gift card and then they are coming over around noon to exchange gifts. I work at Kingwood from 2-6(I'm hoping they close early).
Tonight we are going over to the in-laws for Christmas Eve dinner and to exchange presents. Ashley will spend the night with us tonight and tomorrow we will celebrate Christmas!!!
I hope everyone is having a great Holiday and be careful if you are traveling.
I can't believe it's been two months since I've wrote anything. Does that tell you how busy I've been? I've been working two full-time jobs. I work about 40-50 hours at my primary job and then about 28-35 hours at my second job. To say the least, I'm very tired. I get up at 5:00 am to get to my first job by 6, leave at 2:30 to get to my second job by 3; then work until 9. Of course, once I get home, I can't just go to bed because I have to wind down. I normally don't end up going to bed until around 10:30-11.
This week, I've woke up with two killer headaches; thus why I'm writing right now instead of being at work. I am planning on going to work, I just need rest.
Shane still hasn't found a job; however, he does have a prospect that I'm hoping he'll hear from next week or since it's Christmas, hopefully the week after. He's planning on going to Chattanooga State beginning Jan. 12th(my birthday) to take a 7-week class to get his CDL license. I'm hoping with him having his CDL, he will be able to get a really good job.
I feel like I have so much to tell, but I'll save some of it for another post. In the mist of working two jobs; I do "almost" have my Christmas shopping done. I only have about 6 people left to buy for and they are getting gift cards so that makes that part of my life easier.
Tomorrow night, I'm going to dinner with my friend, Cindy and I can't wait. I haven't been out in so long I can't even remember what it's like to be able to sit down and let someone wait on me. Don't get me wrong, since I work two jobs and Shane is home; he does all the housework to include washing clothes, dishes, cooking meals.
I'm excited to be able to go out with Cindy and just catch up on some good gossip!!!
