The End of Harry Potter?

I went to Walmart to get my bracelet for Harry Potter. The bracelets are color coded as follows:

RED - Gryffindor
GREEN - Slytherin
BLUE - Ravenclaw
YELLOW - Hufflepuff

The Red bracelets means you are first in line to get a book. I got 2 red bracelets and actually the Walmart worker ended up giving me 2 of each colors; which I don't mind because I love Harry Potter.

I'll be leaving in about an hour and half to go back to Walmart to pick up my book!!! I definitely will be starting it as soon as I get it and will more than likely be done by Sunday, possibly tomorrow.

Don't worry, though, I won't spoil anything for anyone that reads my blog. Happy Reading!!

Free Book Swapping

Most of my family are book readers. My mother and I mainly read romance novels like Nora Roberts and Harry Potter(of course); but my dad and sister and brother read drama books like John Grisham.

Anyway, on Titletrader, you can actually swap books with other people around the world for free. You just make an inventory list of all those books you have sitting around that you no longer want and if someone wants it, then you send it to them. You in turn get credit for every book you send and then you use those credits to get you any book that you want.

They make the inventory listing easy with having you enter just the ISBN number from the back of your book. That pulls all the necessary information about the book. They even have DVD, VHS, Music and Video Games listed. Sounds like a great idea.

I have some books that I'm going to do this with and my mother has a ton of books that I'm sure she doesn't need. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Here's my inventory so far; check it out, you may find a book you just have to read. They have a referral program too, so if you do check it out, please click here so that I get credit for you signing up.

Simone and Elvis

I'm always going to McKay's to look for good Romance books; however, lately I've been stressed with Diesel and what puppies do and just life in general.

So, I thought I'd look for a way to relieve strees and I ran across this book called Simone and Elvis. It is a self meditation, Self Help Book to relieve stress.

Try out the free slideshow that relaxes you.

Nice, relaxing....Ok, I'm going back to bed.

Happy Weekend!!

Sex, Money, Kiss

I found an autographed copy of Sex, Money, Kiss by Gene Simmons on ebay for a decent price; so I bought it.

I read it in less than 8 hrs and I have to say it was a really interesting and good book.

He is big on Money and how to always make sure to look out for #1. Even though he makes sure no woman is going to take his money by never getting married; I know he takes cares of his children and their mother.

The book is sort of a philosophy.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and have a different prespective about Gene Simmons now.

Harry Potter

I went to Walmart @ Midnight of the 15th to get my long awaited Harry Potter book. I started reading it as soon as I got home around 12:30. I read 3 chapters and hoped the rest of the book wouldn't be like the 3 chapters I just finished reading. I won't go into details, since I know some people may not have read it yet, however; don't be discouraged with the beginning chapters. It does get better, trust me.

Chapter 28 is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
