Raleigh

In the hotel lobby; there is a Macaw named Raleigh. She is a beautiful bird and can speak. I've only heard her say Hello, but she is fun to watch and talk to.

May Flowers

Normally, my flowers around my yard have bloomed way before May; however, this year the blooming was delayed.

Here's what has SPRUNG up in my yard that I made a lovely bouquet for my dining room table from.

Invitations Anyone?

My friend Cindy's son is having his 10th Birthday on Feb. 12th; so she asked me for some help with the party theme and then once decided on, the invitations.

He is having a Movie Party theme and she found some Popcorn boxes to be used as favors. She wanted some really cute invitations....

At first, I came up with the ideo of movie ticket invitations and then we decided on popcorn boxes. I finally finished the invitations and decided to show them off and maybe I'll do a little side business of creating invitations and selling them.

It's a thought. Here's my first finished product.

Top Dog

Today is our first snow day of 2008. It's really pretty too and it looks like the snow is just so soft.

But the real reason why I'm writing is the Bulldog made the Top 10 Popular Dogs List.

I know my Bulldog is TOP DOG!!!!

He's laying in his bed right now snoring and pooting....Bulldogs are known for their "little" gas issue; but we love him!! Stinky butt and all.

Our Fortunes

Shane and I got these fortunes at the same time and I've been wanting to show them; however, my old camera just couldn't focus enough on the words to make a decent picture. Well with my new camera, it has an option for text pictures. I've been saving them hoping I would get a new camera and I did.

A Different Pachebel

My friend, Alli, is such a great writer and I love reading her blog on a daily basis. She comes up with things that people enjoy.

For example, Pachebel at Bedtime. Pachebel in Cannon D is a famous wedding song that happens to be the one I'll be walking down the aisle too; however, in this video a father sings lyrics to Pachebel as a bedtime song.

It's very cute, check it out. Made my day start off right....I laughed out loud.

New Page

I wanted to do something different to my blog to reflect my upcoming Wedding. I decided to change the colors to match my invitations, light pink and brown.

These are also the colors of my bridesmaid dresses. These are probably my two favorite colors right now. Pink has always been my favorite color; but just this year, I've added brown.

I hope you like.

Moon

I love taking pictures and I like pictures of the outside World the best. Flowers, animals, moon, etc. Last night I was outside and the moon was so pretty behind my mom's house; I just had to take a picture. I actually took 3 but this is the one I like the best.

Moon2.jpg

The moon looked like a full moon but when I took the picture, it turned out like this....it was just hanging in the middle of some clouds.

No News is Usually Bad News

I haven't been blogging much lately for a variety of reasons.

1. I've been too busy in my personal life to care about blogging
2. Nothing really to blog about
3. Shane's mother has been sick since August and passed away on 2/5/07
4. Trying to get a 2nd job

Shane's mother was sick and passed away this past Monday; which, also was Shane's birthday. The funeral is today; so please keep us and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Since about September; I've been blogging for Payperpost to make some extra money. It was fun and I made a good little hunk of change; however, they have changed their Web site and there just isn't any good opportunities and they have made it close to impossible to get any of the good paying opps. I haven't written a review since 1/25 and I think I'm not going to anymore. I went to see what opps they have available today and they had a review to write about how much money you have made with Payperpost; yet it wasn't for everyone. You had to have a certain page ranking and something else. I, personally, feel like any opp from Payperpost should be available to all posties. So, with that said, my blog will be all personal from this day forward. No more reviews.

I'm hoping I will have time to actually start writing again too.

Dreaming of a New Truck

Shane would love to have a new truck and when I say new; it doesn't have to be brand new, just newer than what he has. He has a 1989 Chevy S-10. It's a good truck meaning it gets him to where he needs to be without any problems. Well, it is a gas guzzler for being such a small truck.

Anyway, once Shane gets a good job at a good company(that doesn't go under or do a ton of layoffs), he will get him a new truck.

There are 2 used car lots right by our house and there's a really nice Chevy truck for sale. I'm always looking at car classifieds in hopes of finding a great deal, just in case.

He'd like another truck like a Dodge Ram or a Chevy 1500 or Silverado.

Well, hopefully this dream will come true for Shane sometime this year or early next year. A boy can dream, can't he?

Payperpost Blog

I haven't really been doing too many PPP entries lately. For one, I feel like I'm too busy to even check what's available and secondly, I'm working 2 jobs so by the time I get a chance to see what's available; everything is taken.

PPP has their own blog, written by the staff of PPP and you can find great information, news, etc. that you may have missed out from being too busy; like myself.

Their blog lets you know what PPP has been doing and lets you know who won what contest that they were offering and just various news. Some of the entries are serious, funny, enlightening and just good reading. There are even videos that will make you smile/laugh.

Check it out if you are interested in learning more about PPP or just ready to read a new blog.

HP & PPP Postie

Last week, I wrote an entry how PPP and HP was giving away a digital camera and a photo printer. I would love to have a photo printer. The printer I have now is not that great at printing photos and I would really LOVE a new photo printer from HP and PPP.

Everything you need to take, print and share digital photos is here in this Digital Photography Review.

In the video below, a PPP postie can do a challenge and win a HP camera, printer and $1000. I would love if Ted and the PPP team came to Chattanooga, TN and offered me the chance to compete. I'd do it in a heartbeat...whatever they asked.

Check out the video and tell me how far would you go for a new Digital Camera, printer and some ching-ching?

Ringtones & Avatars

This is a sponsored post

Before I met Shane, I never even knew what an avatar was. When I first met him, he played a lot of yahoo games and built a lot of avatars; not just for him but other people too. He had a lot of them on his computer.

Anyway, U-DOO lets you build ringtones with matching avatar characters. You can then just download them to your phone or even post on myspace.com(i know that's a popular site now-a days). What's even better, is the first 60-days are totally free.
Check it out here

I built one but I wasn't quite sure that's what I wanted on my phone; but it's a fun thing to do and I know teenagers would love it.

Internet Reality Show

I'm a huge fan of reality tv. I just can't seem to get enough of them. I usually have one to watch every night. I started watching a new one on Mtv called Big and Rob.

It's about Rob Dyrdek, a professional skateboarder and his best friend, bodyguard, Christopher "Big Black" Boykin. They live together and just got a new bulldog puppy called "Meaty". He's precious, of course. Anyway, I love their show. They are hilarious and it's kind of like the old show "The Odd Couple". Just hilarious sometimes.

Anyway, now there is an Internet Reality Show called RockStartUp and it is a reality show online that you can watch. It's pretty good. I guess because I'm nosy(a little), I love watching about other people's lives and how they live and what they go thru on a daily basis.

Here's episode 3, check it out...I enjoyed it and can't wait to see more.

PPP is GREAT!!

I haven't been blogging as much lately because I've been working two jobs and just really haven't had the time so I apologize if I haven't had anything interesting to say.

As you know, Payperpost(PPP) is a service that you get paid to advertise on blogs. It gets a lot of flack from people regarding if this is a good thing or not.

I, personally, love PPP. I think it's a great way for someone to make a little extra money doing what they enjoy, Blogging.

I started PPP back in October and so far, I've made right at $500. I've spent it on a variety of things to include paying bills, Christmas shopping, eating, etc. You name it and I've used PPP money to purchase, buy, pay it.

I know I've said it a hundred times, it seems, but I highly recommend PPP to anyone that just wants to make a little extra money and have some fun. Yes, you can have fun on certain opportunities....the videos are great.

Try it if you think you'd like something like this and share your experience with PPP.

Impressionist

I never been good at doing impressions or acting or doing plays, skits, etc. I'm very creative when it comes to making things just not very a very good imagination. Or maybe just not talented?

Anyway, Ashley is have a great imagination and as you saw in my previous post, she plays it out well.

Check out Antonio doing his best impression of a catfish. I guess it's kind of funny because it's kind of stupid.

Maybe that's why I don't try to be imaginative because I don't want to look stupid?

Give Payperpost a Chance

As you all know, I love Payperpost!! I think it's a great new internet thing. I don't know who originally came up with the idea; but I think they are a genius. I know some people don't agree with blog advertising and I really don't understand why?

It's a great and easy way to make money; plus you blog about things you enjoy or think someone else would be interested in.

Now, I don't agree with people that have 4-5 blogs just so they can get 12-15 ads in a day. I don't think that's right at all; however, I only have 1 blog and my blog is a personal blog. I talk about my family, Diesel(my dog), things I enjoy(Nascar) and sometimes work.

Don't knock Payperpost until you try it and if you just absolutely refuse to try it; let me know why you are so against it.

Note: All comments are welcomed or I wouldn't have asked you to tell me what you think. Enjoy!!

Online Gaming

I've never been one for online gaming except the occasional word game or something I know I can beat. Shane, on the other hand, is a BIG time online gamer. Every free minute he has revolves around online gaming. He mainly plays Dungeons & Dragons Online and he loves it. And no, it's not a cult game.

NinjaBattles - Join the Battle! lets you compete for a chance to win up to $500. I may have to try that for $500. Right here at Christmas time, I could use that.

Let me know if you try it out. Tell me what you think about it.

Everyone Loves a Critic

As many of you know I started this blog as an online Pregnancy journal and then never got pregnant. I often write about my family, relationships, semi-work and now my dog, Diesel.

A friend of mine got me hooked on Payperpost because she wanted a new digital camera so this was her way to make the extra money without actually having to work any extra.

I live with my boyfriend and he lost his job so I thought this would be a good way to make some extra money until he found another job. It seems like a lot of people don't like Payperpost and I really haven't understood why people are so upset?

I even had an interview with a journalist student from New York about Payperpost. She was saying that a lot of people are against blogging advertisement for money. Like I said, I don't see the big deal about it.

Someone left me a comment stating that my blog had gone downhill and that I had sold my soul to Payperpost; well, I haven't. There are far more people than me that have 4-5 blog pages just so they can get 3 posts a day per each blog to make the money.

I've only made about $224 so far; but there are some that make in the thousands. If I had sold my soul to Payperpost, it would be consuming my life and so far, it isn't. There are days that I may only take 1 opportunity.

I'm sorry if you don't find my blog interesting and that you think it's all about Payperpost; because it's not. I talk about things I enjoy like my dog, nascar, TN football, etc.

You either keep reading my blog for enjoyment or not; that's your opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Who Will Win The Free Wedding?

I wrote an article last week whether To Wed or Not To Wed and how PayperPost was paying for a Free PayPerPost Wedding.

The winning couple will receive the wedding license and ceremony. 1 night Hotel stay. $1000 cash to spend if and when you leave your hotel room. Free Wedding video shown all over the internet. (as long as you don't tape the Honeymoon-haha)

You can read each couple's story and then vote for which one deserves the free Wedding.

I voted for Jamey and Lauren and to my surprise, I was the only person that has voted for them.

Well, I wish all three couples good luck and a happiness of love.

Fan of Forums?

I'm not really that much a fan of forums because most of the time it is users griping about something. The only forums I do find helpful are the ones when I have a PC problem. You can really find some good resolutions if you dig deep enough.

PayPerPost has their own forum and to be honest; I've never even been out on them, until now. I like the way their forum is set up to where you can actually sort by user names. Also, I enjoy that you can look at a postie's profile. I always wondered why you couldn't search for a postie just from the home page; now I know.

Most forums I can't get to at work(during my lunch and breaks) and by the time I get home I just go to the sites to do some blogging and that's about it.

If you get a chance and are interested, check out the forums on PayPerPost. There's some interesting read out there.

Book Swapping Update

Okay, I joined Title Trader and this morning I made an inventory of all my books that I no longer wanted/needed. I've already made 3 swaps and I'll be mailing them out tomorrow.

The only catch that I didn't like is that you have to pay the S&H when you send something; but then, of course, when you get something you want, it's totally free.

I really think this is a good thing that I'll thoroughly enjoy. I have several things on my Wishlist already.

I love doing crossword puzzles and have recently learned how to play Suduko; I just love mind games. They say if you play mind games that helps prevent you from getting Alzheimer.

Check what is Smart and what is Stupid on WordDisplay today.

This site really works your mind if you play the games. On the Name the Brand, I couldn't even get past the first one.

They have a game called Matrix Vision that is pretty cool to play. I made it a little further on this one.

Flaming Tamale's Confessional

No, I'm not taking about a religous confessional; but just a confessional like you see on reality shows.

Flaming Tamale works for Payperpost, you know the place you get paid to blog? Anyway, the team members at Payperpost are going to start doing video confessionals and this is the first one from Flaming Tamale. They say she has been having a bad week and she got chosen to go first because she's had a bad week. Week? It's just Wednesday.

She makes this confessional enjoyable and you get a some laughs out of it also. Check it if you think you've had a bad day.

I'm in the Money

Like I've said in many previous posts; sometimes my entries are blog advertising for PayPerPost.

For those that are new, PayPerPost is a Consumer Generated Advertising Company. They pay us bloggers to advertise products. I learned about PayPerPost from my friend, Alli. She had started using them as a way to get a new digital camera; which she did. I thought I'd use it just as a mean of extra money. Right now, the extra money pays bills; but one day I hope I can use it just as extra money. Money that I can save, pay bills, spend or just have fun with.

So far, I've been paid around $115 but I still have over $200 that I still have coming to me.

I stand behind PayPerPost and recommend anyone that needs some extra money and has a blog; to jump on board. It's really easy to do and you don't have to be a journalist to participate.

It's fun, it's easy, it's extra $$$$$$$$Money$$$$$$$$$. What could be better than that when you need it?

Can You See in the Dark?

It amazes me how animals have excellent night vision. I can be outside with Diesel late at night and he can spot a bug in the grass and it's pitch black. I can barely see if he's going potty because I don't have a light out on my deck or on the back of my house.

Wouldn't it be neat if humans had animalistic night vision? I could get me a nice night vision scope if I wanted to get silly about it.

Of course, there are probably things in the night that I'd be better off not seeing. If you know what I mean.

I would like to have a telescope so that I could sit out on my deck and look at the stars and planets. It would be nice to share that with the kids and teach them things about the Solar System. I'd have to learn things myself first though.

Opticsplant.net sells a variety of things from Night Vision Goggles to Telescopes to Digital Cameras. They even have Digital Camera Binoculars, which I think is the neatest invention since the Telephone...haha.

I need to start making my Christmas list for Santa because as I surf the web; I think of more things I want for Christmas.

Payperpost, What Do You Think?

I have posted many entries about Payperpost and how great I think it is. So far, I've actually made $102.50 and have about $200 more coming to me.

For those that don't know Payperpost is a site that pays bloggers to write entries as adverstising for companies. It's also called blog advertising. Some people don't like this idea and seem to always want to gripe about it. There's a podcast about how Payperpost raised 3-million dollars of financing from Inflexion Partners and with participation from Villiage Ventures and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.

I, personally, don't see what the gripe is all about. I stand behind Payperpost and will keep doing what I want as long as it is available for me to do.

Keep up the great work, guys and girls at Payperpost; I love your site.

You Gotta Know When to Hold 'Em

I love playing cards and the only game I really know how to play that you can gamble on is Blackjack. I'd love to know how to play poker, but I know nothing about poker at all. I didn't even know there were poker rules.

A friend of mine at work plays Texas Poker all the time. She plays with the big boys and wins big, when she wins. I'd like to get in on a small game or just play at home with some friends and not use real money until I know what I'm doing.

I went looking on how to play Texas Hold 'Em. I didn't know there were 5 different rounds of the game. I thought you just kept playing until the hand was over.

The first round is called The Pre-Flop - you blind bet
The second round is called The Flop - dealer deals the cards
The third round is called The Turn - dealer places a fourth card in the middle of the table and this card is called The Turn
The fourth round is called The River - same as above but involves a fifth card called The River. Also another round of betting takes place
The fifth and final round is called The Showdown - The players now use their two cards and the five community cards to make the strongest five-card hand that they can

Then, basically, whoever has the strongest hand WINS.

Doesn't seem to hard; but do I have a Poker face?

Vonage Review, Part II

I'm still not completely sold on Vonage yet. Yes, it appears to be cheaper than the local phone company; however, how great is the service really?

I've visited the above site and tried to read some of the forums and most of the forums are questions about problems people seem to have. One of the major gripes is dropped calls or the phone rings and noone is there. That is very annoying.

I'm still going to look into it and periodically check the news on it; weigh my options, but it seems like land line phones are the way to go right now. Atleast until the bugs get worked out.

I wonder if the problems they are having is because it's not a nationwide product yet?

Photoshop Fun

Last year, we had Photoshop loaded on our PC. A friend of Shane's gave it to us. I wanted to play around with Photoshop and never could get the hang of it.

I found this Photoshop Video Tutorials for Newbies and wish I still had Photoshop.

Our computer crashed and we no longer have Photoshop; however, this review would have definitely helped back when we did.

I love all the things you can do with Photoshop, but my favorite is how you can take part of a picture and incorporate another picture into it. I want to do that with some of my pictures.

Maybe one day soon, I'll have enough money from Payperpost that I can actually spend on something I want instead of something I need.

Anyone for a New Drink?

I'm not a big drinker at all and occasionally when I go out; I'll usually drink a Pina Colada. I used to drink something called a Malibu Rum. I like Rum and fruity drinks.

I saw this new drink called a Mojito. It's made of five ingredients: mint, rum, powdered sugar, lime juice, and club soda.

It sounds very good and something I would like. The Mojito is served in a unique glass that captures the exotic aspect of the drink and literally places it above other drinks.

I always like buying a drink and it comes in fancy glass that you can take home. These glasses make you think you are on an exotic vacation just relaxing.

Listen to TheRiskmaster and see if the lyrics describe you. The music and vocals are pretty good.

Anti-Payperpost

I have been a Payperpost Postie for about a month now and I really enjoy doing it. For those that don't know, it is a Web site that you get paid to blog advertising. Meaning you choose what you want to write about and you get paid because you are advertising for the company/person that you chose.

I think it's a great idea and would recommend them to anyone that blogs as a way to make extra money.

There is this site that is Anti-Payperpost. I think the guy is personally full of crap. Why do most people gripe about a good thing?

Because they aren't the ones that thought of the idea first. He needs to get over it and go on with his boring life.

I think Payperpost is great and I'll continue supporting them.

Body Icing

I've had my belly button pierced for about 4 or 5 years now. I wanted to wait until I had a four-pack stomach to get it done; however, if I waited for that, I'd be waiting forever.

So, I took the plunge. I was scared it would hurt but to my surprise, it didn't hurt at all and I love it!!

It makes me feel sexy. I'm always look for unique belly button rings. I have quite a few including a Dale Jr, Hello Kitty, several different color balls, an OCC(Orange County Chopper) and some jewelled ones.

I really like this pink heart one. It's always fun shopping for these.

If you have a body piercing, check out www.allpiercings.com for some great pieces of jewelry.

$$Money$$Money$$Money$$

I've been posting a lot lately because of payperpost.com. It is a great way to make money and today I got my first payment.

It was a small payment; however, you have to start somewhere to get where you want to be.

So far, I have wrote enough blogs to make around $165.

Everyday, the money will start coming into my account. I didn't start this with anything in mind to buy; just to make extra money to pay bills. But paying bills with money that I didn't have before, means saving money in a different area.

I love it!!! Keep it coming.

Substance Abuse Problems Around the World

The subject of drug abuse isn't something I usually discuss on here but I think it warrants a place on my blog.

I personally have never done drugs; however, drugs have been a big part of my family and has changed many lifes of people I care and love.

Me and my sisters have all dated or married someone with a drug problem and luckly we survived without abusing them ourselves. And luckily, we all got out of those bad relationships and are definitely for the better.

I dated a guy that had a problem and one time he decided to check himself into a substance abuse program. I went to the meetings with him and I really learned alot from them; unfortunately he did not.

I believe the Drug Abuse problems around the world today aren't really taken that serious; especially for celebrities.

I think too often, celebrities get a slap on the wrist and get away with too much.

Passages Malibu is a Alcohol Rehab or Drug Rehab Center that is very nice and many celebrities go there. I just hope it actually works for the people that attend Passages Malibu.

Their treatment plan seems really well thought of and would actually work if the users will put their heart and soul into wanting to change.

I know from experiences in your daily life that noone can make you change. You can and will succeed at changing if you want to change for yourself and noone else.

That applies to many things in life too.

Need Cash Fast?

Have you ever used a Cash Advance loan?

When I first moved out into my 2nd apartment there were times when I needed a Cash Advance loan. Just enough to get me to my next payday.

This has been over 8 years ago when Cash Advance locations were popping up everywhere and charging clients an astronomical finance rate. If you borrowed $200 for 2 weeks, you had to pay back $230. I think I read somewhere the finance rate for 14 days was over 130%. Ridiculous, but for people in a bind, it worked out fo you.

I know now these Cash Advance companies got in trouble for charging so much finance charge and I think now you only have to pay back $202 on a $200 loan. I haven't used one in over 8 years and hopefully, I won't have to.

Now you can get an Online Cash Advance Payday Loan. They charge a low finance charge of $13 per $100 borrowed. I guess this would be a great convenience since it's put in your checking/savings account the next day; however, I still don't recommend this to anyone trying to live payday to payday. Tough it out and save your $2, $26 or $30. You'll make, trust me. I did.

Check out the Blog on Payperpost

Payperpost is a site that pays you to write about one of their clients. Meaning they have clients that pay them to advertise on blogs and then payperpost pays us, crazy people, to write on our blog about the service.

Payperpost even has their own blog so that you can learn about fellow posties.

Their is a Question and Answer, Chat Forum and just various things you would find on a personal blog.

I think this has to be one of the smartest internet ideas someone has come up with and I thoroughly enjoy coming home and checking out the Open Opportunities for me to write about.

Wierd History

I received this email from my mom today and thought I'd share it with everyone. Feel free to comment on what you think about it. I think it is so coincidental.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head .

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a
warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a
theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Creepy huh?

Hercules Hooks

I'm always buying things to hang on the walls; plus since I have a ton of nieces, I have lots of pictures to hang.

I love As Seen on TV items (ASOT) and I have to visit the stores everytime I go to Pigeon Forge.

I didn't know there was a Web site for ASOT items. I took a look around and found these Hercules Hooks. They hold up to 150 lbs. and that makes me feel good to know my precious items are secure.

You get 10 hooks for only $9.95. That's a great price so I just might have to order me some.

Check this website out, not only for the Hercules Hooks, but many other great items.

Hardwood vs Laminate Flooring

When I bought my house, it had hardwood flooring throughout the entire house, no carpet at all.

I thought I would love the hardwood floor, I mean really no vacumming; just sweeping and mopping. Boy!! I was wrong.

In every corner there would be dust bunnies and it felt like you had to sweep it every other day to make it look nice. We even tried a product that was supposed to make your hardwood floors shine and protect them so that you didn't have to sweep so often.

I ended up getting carpet; but maybe laminate flooring is better as far as collecting dust bunnies.

If I had known about quick-step laminate flooring before I chose carpet, I might could have enjoyed the look of hardwood floors without the hassle.

Oh well, carpet is nice too.

I can DIGG it, can you?

Dan has written a blog about when payperpost started and it's rather an interesting entry.

First, I didn't know payperpost just started back in July of this year. When I joined, they had just been open for a little over 2 months, yet their site is very professional and I haven't ran into any kinks yet.

I think what Dan has to say is true, "The Consumer Generated Advertising revolution has begun". Payperpost a great way to make money blogging.

However, I didn't know there were sides to chose??

Making $$ Blogging

Like I've said many times before, I started blogging because I was hoping to get pregnant and I wanted to us it as an online "Pregnancy" journal. Well, that didn't happen like I planned, so my blog was often bare.

My friend at work, Alli, has a great blog. She is a great writer and I enjoy reading her blog, so when she wanted people to sign up for Payperpost, I thought that sounds like fun.

I'll be the first to admin, I am NOT a write; but payperpost is a Consumer Generated Advertising site and is really easy to use.

If you want to join, please go to the above link and sign up. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do and why not make money doing something you enjoy. If you sign up, please leave me a comment and I'll give you my email address.

Vonage Review

For a while now, the latest craze has been internet phone service to replace your home one.

I've thought about this and wanted to see what all the hype was about. On Vonage, it is very informative as it discusses reviews, has a forum section and even discussion among actual users of Vonage.

It does seem cheaper than my local phone company; however, 911 is different with internet phone. There are three types of 911 calling available on Vonage. The type you get will depend on the availability of 911 and routing at your local emergency center.

Not sure if I like that part about it. You also need a router with Vonage and you can't have your number listed in the phone book.

There are many pros and cons with internet phone service and this site provides you with a good insight.

Did Someone Say, "Shoes"?

I love shoes, so anytime I find a great deal; I can usually find me a pair I love and just have to buy.

Earlier this year, I bought a pair of Teva Sandals and they are the most comfortable sandals I have. If I don't need to wear another pair for various reasons; I always wear my Tevas.

You can Save On Brand Name Shoes here. They have every brand name possible and priced reasonably. Here's the kicker though, FREE shipping and FREE returns.

They even have foot tips and tips for buying shoes. I think this would be useful if women actually read this instead of buying shoes for looks instead of comfort. I do that too often.

They have special tips for seniors and kids. Great site for all your shoe needs.

Download Unlimited Movies

I'm always looking for movies online to watch on my laptop while going on vacation, on a plane, etc.

I found a site that has a ton of Movie Downloads. Not only does it have unlimited movie downloads; it shows users how to download music, movies, games and software.

It's not free; but I think it is well worth it. Here are just a few of their top features.

» Lightning fast downloads
» Over 80 Million Movies to choose
» Play on your PC or TV
» No Charge per movie
» No download limit what so ever!
» No Spyware or Popup Ads
» Unlimited technical support

It's good to know you can download music, movies, etc. without worrying that the family movie you just downloaded isn't suitable for children.

For unlimited access, it's only $39.95. Just slightly lower than what you would pay if you bought 2 DVDs. Try it, I think you'll enjoy it.

Are High Heels Worth the Pain?

I normally wear high heels to work or anytime I'm dressed up. I love sandals the best because I hate wearing shoes so this is the close to being barefoot to me.

Because I love shoes so much; sometimes I'll buy a pair if they "almost" fit me just simply because I loved them and they were a great deal.

When this happens, my feet suffer. Either my toes end up hurting or the bottom of my feet do.

Since I'll be wearing heels to my reunion and for about 4-5 hours, I thought about trying out some of those shoe inserts on OurFootdoctor.com for high heels.

Since I have knee problems, I think the SuperFeet DressFit Inserts will work just fine.

Gardening

Every spring, I plant flowers in my little flower boxes and several pots I have around my garage and sidewalk.

My gardenhose is hung up inside my garage and everytime I go to water my plants, I have to go into my garage and fear any spider webs that may be around my hose.

Then, when I go to put up my hose, it always hits one of my sensors to the garage door opener and I mis-aligns it. Of course, I never remember to fix it until I'm in my car trying to close the door.

I ran across this great new hose that automatically rewinds itself. I figured it would be expensive; but it's really not. For a 100 foot hose is only $69.97 and you get free shipping from
